Solo Piano: Mike Eckroth

Michael Eckroth, pianist and keyboardist, is an active performer in New York and worldwide, having performed extensively with musicians such as jazzicons John Scofield, Ron McClure, Eliot Zigmund and Paul McCandless.

To shine a light on our recently acquired Steinway B, as well as Minneapolis' masterful pianists, Jazz Central Studios will present a solo piano concert the first Wednesday of each month.

This solo concert series pays homage to jazz piano great, Art Resnick. Through cooperation with Perfect Pitch Piano (Jason Rupert) and Gale Fraser, Art's wife, this beautiful instrument will continue to play jazz.
