Ethan Ostrow

Ethan Ostrow is a Minneapolis-based pianist, composer, and singer whose music is “dynamic, passionate, and gorgeous” (East Bay Express). Ethan's original music ranges from soaring melodies over head-banging grooves, to powerful reflective ballads, drawing influence from Jazz, Rock, Funk and Folk.

A recent transplant from New York City, Ethan has quickly established himself as a first-rate musician in Minnesota, performing and recording with the Snapped Open Mic band, Sunshine & the Nightwalkers, Omar Abdulkarim, Abinnet Berhanu, Dakota Andersen, Leslie Vincent, Toussaint Morrison, William Duncan, Kathleen Johnson, the Twin Cities Latin Jazz Orchestra, Pete Enblom, and more. Ethan has performed extensively across the US; and abroad in Havana and Tokyo. His time in NYC included performances at venues such as Birdland, Dizzy’s, Chelsea Table & Stage, Nublu, and Rockwood Music Hall and more with musicians such as Dayna Stephens, Kellin Hanas, and Nick Marziani. www.ethanostrow.com
