About the Event
Chris and Jeff met last century while Jeff was a resident artist at Luther College in Decorah, IA. Each of their bands, Motion Poets and Unified Jazz Ensemble, found ways to bring original, modern compositions to life in unique ways. Over the ensuing decades Jeff and Chris have remained in touch through the magic of social media. Tonight they both relish the physical presence of this reunion. Chris and Jeff, joined by pianist Bryan Nichols and drummer Pete James Johnson, are excited to play again. The music will surely catch fire and ignite new paths forward for everyone. From originals to standards, this quartet is not to be missed.
