Calvin Caron is a bassist and composer. A 2022 graduate of the University of Minnesota - Duluth with a BFA in Jazz Studies. He is now living in Minneapolis, MN, working as a bassist and sideman while simultaneously composing, recording, and performing music of his own.

About the Event
Calvin Caron is a bassist and composer. A 2022 graduate of the University of Minnesota - Duluth with a BFA in Jazz Studies. He is now living in Minneapolis, MN, working as a bassist and sideman while simultaneously composing, recording, and performing music of his own. In the spring of 2025 Calvin released his debut project, “Transition Moments”, featuring an all-star cast of Twin Cities musicians. His compositions create unique atmospheres for communal freedom of expression. His writing draws inspiration from the musical styles of Jazz, Folk, Country, and classical traditions.
