Anya and Austyn Menk

Anya Menk, vocalist and lyricist, is joined by her brother, Austyn (piano), her father, Carl (bass), and drummer Bob Shoemaker for this evening of originals and jazz standards with her unique twist.

Anya Marie Menk is a vocalist, pianist, flautist, lyricist, composer and educator from Le Center, MN. Having recently graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College, she now serves as a lesson instructor to students of all ages at Downtown Sound Music Studio in New Prague, MN.

Austyn Vaughn Menk is a pianist, organist, composer, arranger and educator from Le Center, Minnesota currently based outside of Chicago, Illinois. At Northern Illinois University, Austyn serves as the music admissions coordinator, a position he entered after completing his M.M. in Jazz Studies at NIU in May 2023.
